Scripture in the Morning #27

Scripture in the Morning #27

Good Morning.

My friends, for your consideration…

Our future does not depend upon us – praise God. Our future is in God’s hands. This is, of course, not an opinion. Over 20 verses in the Bible declare these truths. As such, we are a people with no need to fear of the future. If the future was in our hands – or the hands of others – or anyone other than our loving God… we would have much to stress over and fear. Praise God that our future is in His hands –

and He has made us some promises about our future.

Rom 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.

Bases on this verse (and others like it), everything we will experience is designed by Him, controlled by Him, and will result in our growth and blessing. Again, it might be a tough path and we might not “feel” blessed in real time. But we will be blessed.

Yet another promise from our Lord regarding our future – Nothing can separate us from God. We are certainly heaven bound because we are in His hands and He will not let go.

Rom 8:37,38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We are saved. Heaven is ours. Not even we can screw that up – again, because we do not determine our fate – God who saved us does…

John 10:29 My Father, who has given them [and you are among them] to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

Do not live in fear. It is unnecessary. Trust Him in what He promises…

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 43:1 Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.

May we each praise Him this day, He who has given us a certain future.
